I’m about to state the blinking obvious (pardon the pun).
Every Founder should work on their personal brand.
Let's face it, in the early days, you ARE your business. You are likely to be the most valuable, knowledgeable, passionate, energetic person in the room.
So lead from the front.
It’s easy to discount the value of a Linked In post, a blog article, a light-hearted podcast interview but trust me, it all adds up.
It takes time, sometimes years, to build a company's reputation......but in the meantime working on your personal brand is a fairly easy thing to do.
Before you know it you have a built following - you have people looking out for things you say - and you have become a beacon for your business.
And we all know that bright beacons attract ships.
