Hire yourself out of the weeds

If you hire people and still end up doing (or re-doing) half the work yourself, congratulations, you’re now running a crèche.

If you want your business to grow faster, bring in people who are going to execute their functions better than you did; who bring experience that you don’t have; who have ambition and ideas; individuals who could build something for you.

And what should you be doing?

Building customer relationships.
Executing your growth plan.

That’s it.

Close your eyes and visualise a team around you, each of whom is simply brilliant at what they do, and imagine how powerful that would be. Then, set aside your ego and start looking for people who you find just a little bit intimidating.
